In a parody of “It’s De-Lovely” called “He’s De-Mented!” posted Tuesday, Rainbow leaned into opponents’ claims that Trump isn’t all there. Even Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker got into the act Tuesday on celebrity.land.
But Rainbow has a lot more fun. Between costume changes and snarky lyric tweaks, the song satirist gleefully crooned his old-time roasting of the president.
“His screws are loose / his tangents roam / the lights are on / but ain’t no one home,” Rainbow sings. “He’s defective/ he’s destructive/ he’s de-mented.”
“His rambling’s worse / he’s taking spills / it’s clear that Grandpa / is off his pills,” Rainbow continued. “He’s decrepit / he’s delulu / he’s de-mented.”
