‘Compadres’ Movie: Erick Elías, Omar Chaparro Star In Action-Packed Film; Watch Hilarious Trailer Here!

Omar Chaparro, Erick Elías, Aislinn Derbez, Joey Morgan, and Camila Sodi star in Pantelion Films new production, “Compadres,” which premieres at theatre near you on April 22. The story follows “Garza” (Chaparro), a former Mexican cop who has just escaped from prison with the help of his former boss “Coronado” (José Sefami), and is seeking revenge on “Santos” (Elías).

As the plot develops, we find out that “Santos” has kidnapped his girlfriend “Maria” (Derbez) and framed him for a crime he didn’t commit. With an inside tip on how to find his archenemy, “Santos” heads to San Diego to find an “accountant” that may know his whereabouts.

To his surprise, and everyone else’s surprise, the infamous accountant turns out to be a 17-year-old American computer hacker named “Vic” (Joey Morgan), who despite an immediate disdain for each other, and a very clear culture clash, turns out to be “Garza’s” only chance at finding “Santos.”

Latin Times had the chance to sit down with Erick Elías earlier this month to talk about his new telenovela “El Hotel de los Secretos,” where he also shared his excitement to be involved in this project, “It’s an action and comedy movie with Omar Chaparro, Aislinn Derbez and Camila Sodi that comes out in April. I play the bad guy, but it was so much fun to film it. I actually watched the movie yesterday and like it a lot. I’m happy to be a part of it.”
