Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif were seen together at the star-studded special screening of Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani in Mumbai on Tuesday. The couple arrived hand-in-hand to watch the film directed by Karan Johar, featuring Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh. After the screening, the paparazzi asked them for their reactions, and Vicky Kaushal described the movie as good, while Katrina found it to be wonderful. The film is scheduled for a theatrical release on Friday.
As they were leaving, Vicky and Katrina waved to the fans they encountered after the screening. Katrina looked stunning in a white dress paired with black boots, while Vicky opted for a blue denim shirt. They happily posed for the paparazzi before getting into their car. Both of them reiterated their positive views on the film when questioned by the media.
Alia Bhatt attended the screening with her actor-husband Ranbir Kapoor, both donning matching black T-shirts. However, Ranveer Singh was seen alone, as his wife Deepika Padukone had recently left Mumbai. Shabana Azmi, who plays a significant role in the movie, attended the event with her husband, lyricist Javed Akhtar.
Jaya Bachchan, also a part of the film’s cast, was spotted at the screening with her actor-son Abhishek Bachchan and daughter Shweta Bachchan. Gauri Khan, the interior designer and producer, was also present with her mother, Savita Chhibber. Other celebrities like Malaika Arora, Sara Ali Khan, Ananya Panday, and Ibrahim Ali Khan also graced the event.
Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani marks Karan Johar’s comeback as a director after a gap of seven years since his last film, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil (2016). The movie not only reunites Karan with Alia Bhatt, who made her debut in his film Student of the Year (2012), but also with Jaya Bachchan, who appeared in his 2001 directorial, Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham. Moreover, the film reunites Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt after their collaboration in Zoya Akhtar’s Gully Boy (2019)
