Grant Ellis has certain qualities he’s looking for in a wife.
The premiere of The Bachelor’s 29th season is days away and the leading man has already made his intentions clear. He doesn’t want to relive his “most painful experience” and plans to find “a wife.”
Now, the television personality, who was previously after Jenn Tran’s heart, is making a list of qualities he wants the woman that receives his final rose to have.
While sitting down with People, he spoke about the pre-recorded season and how he handled the drama that always transpires.
Ellis admitted he would always remind himself to “get the facts and don’t jump the gun.”
The television personality also steered clear of a few other qualities.
“For me, a red flag is somebody who’s too self-absorbed,” he added.
After detailing the type of traits he isn’t into, Ellis mentioned what qualities he saw as a good sign.
“I like when somebody’s compassionate and somebody has a heart for other people because that’s the way I am, so I feel like it has to mesh with how I feel,” he stated. “And then hygiene is a big thing for me, too!”
Despite certain “red flags” that arose, Ellis admitted all the women he met on the show were “so great” and “put their hearts out there.”
The Bachelor comes back to ABC on January 27 at 8 pm EST.
