Meghan Markle has been dealt a new blow after fans said that they don’t want her to post more regularly on Instagram.
The 43-year-old, who now resides in the US with Prince Harry and their two children, made a surprise return to the popular social media platform on New Year’s Day.
Having accumulated more than 1.6million followers so far, not all fans wish for more posts from the Duchess.
In a poll conducted by Express.co.uk, which ran between January 22 and January 27, readers were asked whether they wanted more posts from the Duchess of Sussex – or whether they would rather her to post at a minimum.
In the poll – which got a total of 3,343 votes – a staggering 3,262 voted ‘no’ to more regular posts. This is compared to just 51 people voting ‘yes’.
Undecided on whether they would like more posts, 30 people voted ‘don’t know’.
Taking to the comment section of the poll, one fan commented: “Frankly I couldn’t care less as I am never likely to see anything on that media.”
Another commented: “I say no, don’t want to see or hear from her at all.” A third simply commented, “Who cares!”
The royal has only posted three times so far, including the highly anticipated trailer for her upcoming series, With Love, Meghan.
The eight-part series, which was set to air earlier this month, was postponed due to the wildfires currently devastating LA.
Following the decision to postponse the release until March 4, Meghan – who was born in California – released a statement.
Her statement read, “I’m thankful to my partners at Netflix for supporting me in delaying the launch, as we focus on the needs of those impacted by the wildfires in my home state of California.”
As well as the trailer, Meghan posted her first reel on New Year’s Day. This showed her running across the beach before writing ‘2025’ in the wet sand. She also took to her new account to share the sad news of her beloved rescue dog Guy’s passing earlier this month. The heartbreaking video shared pictures and videos of Guy – who she adopted in 2015 – as well as some of her children.
