NORTH ANDOVER, MA — Smolak Farms is applying for an expansion of its existing entertainment license, according to a Select Board meeting agenda for Tuesday.
The license expansion will include a “newly rebuilt greenhouse function area, turntables, various instruments” as well as increasing the number of performers at the 315 S. Bradford St. site.
The new application will replace the current license that renewed in December.
The police, fire, health, and building departments all recommended the proposal.
Smolak Farms hosts farm activities, weddings, birthday parties, corporate events, and more.
Bill DeRosa of Smolak Farms said, “The additional licensing will be for free entertainment for Fall Festival and for brides to hold a cocktail hour in the barn with entertainment.”
