Cardi B has left fans gobsmacked with her latest body modification: a piercing down her backside cleavage.
The “WAP” sensation broke the news to followers on Monday (January 27), declaring that she’s adorned the delicate area with body jewellery, and after some sceptics questioned its veracity, she boldly posted a close-up shot of the embellishments.
Her original post read: “Soooo …….i got my butt crack pierced. (sic)”.
Challenged by a fan who quipped “photo or it didn’t happen,” Cardi was quick to prove her point, sharing the explicit snap alongside the defiant query: “Do I lie?”
No stranger to body art, with a Monroe piercing on her upper lip and over 10 tattoos, Cardi showcased in 2020 a massive back tattoo that stretches from her shoulders to mid-thigh, a vibrant tapestry of butterflies, flora, and avifauna.
Fans were left in disbelief over the revelation as one queried: “What’s the reason behind it? Pun intended.”
Another shared: “WTF,” while a third quizzed: “You bored?”
A fourth asked: “What happens if you forget it about it for months???”
A fifth stated: “Wasn’t even aware this was possible.”
Cardi — born Belcalis Marlenis Almanzar — already has several other piercings, including in her ears, nose, chest, belly button, lip and eyebrow.
Last year in June, she got an ear piercing while shopping at the Maria Tash jewelry shop in Los Angeles.
Previously in 2020, she shared with fans that her chest piercing was rejected by her body.
In a graphic video, the rapper touched the piercing to show that it was being pushed out of her body.
She also showed off lip and neck piercings back in 2019.
