WHEELING, W.Va. — This weekend in Wheeling, a musical event for people of all ages and kids will start Sunday at noon at Waterfront Hall.
A Rock and Roll Playhouse catered to kids is intended to introduce children to the music of legendary bands. There will be a live band performing music of The Grateful Dead along with activities like a giant parachute, pizza, and more.
Rock and Roll Playhouse is a national touring company, but it will use local musicians to perform live music.
“We like to build community at Waterfront Hall, and we thought it would be good idea to host this because it brings in kids here and creates the community aspect of what we are trying to do here,” mady Butler, with Waterfront Hall, said.
