The most enchanting night of Dancing With the Stars, Disney Night, returned on Oct. 22. The couples performed dances honoring beloved Disney films and characters, from Tarzan to Encanto. Read on for the full Disney Night recap and learn who was sent home, below.
Disney Night on DWTS kicked off with a dazzling opening number to “Friend Like Me” from Aladdin, choreographed by Mandy Moore. The performance also included a special appearance by Michael James Scott, who plays Genie in the acclaimed Broadway musical. Co-hosts Alfonso Ribeiro and Juliane Hough even joined in on the fun routine.
The eight remaining couples then moved on to their individual routines, which featured Jazz, Contemporary, Samba, Paso Doble, Charleston, and Tango. In the final portion, the eight pairs were divided into two groups for the team dances: Team Goofs and Team Roar. The team scores were then added to the couples’ individual scores from the first round.
At the beginning of the show, Alfonso announced that the couple at the top of this week’s leaderboard would receive immunity from next week’s dance-off. While both Chandler and Brandon and Danny Amendola and Witney Carson were tied with the highest score before the group dances, only Chandler and Brandon will earn immunity next week due to their consistently good scores throughout the season.
