Over the weekend, the chart-topping artist took center stage at Brighton Pride in the UK. Despite extensive rehearsals for her set, she experienced a minor costume glitch mid-performance. Mariah discussed the near miss on Heart Breakfast with Jamie Theakston and Amanda Holden this Wednesday.”It was a lot of rehearsing and then we had a wardrobe malfunction, which was kind of not cool,” the acclaimed vocalist remarked. “It was right in the front area. I saved it, nobody saw it. Otherwise, it would’ve been talked about.”
She shared how she managed to recover from the slip-up to proceed with her show.
“I turned around and walked through the dancers,” she recounted. “I was so mad.”
While Mariah didn’t go into detail about the mishap or specify which outfit was problematic, her eye-catching fashion choices likely diverted attention from the brief snafu.
The “Always Be My Baby” singer dazzled in shimmering, low-cut ombré bodycon dresses, complemented by thigh-high silver boots.
