Music video for Ed Sheeran’s new single shot in Suffolk

Ed Sheeran’s new music video, “A Little More”, featuring Rupert Grint, was filmed in a Suffolk town.

Released yesterday evening, Ed’s new song is different to his other recent music, which took inspiration from his time in India.

The music video begins with the plumes of steam billowing from the British Sugar factory in Bury St Edmunds.

The video begins with the British Sugar Factory. (Image: Newsquest) Grint, known for his role as Ron Weasley in the Harry Potter series, is shown leaving prison and has a flashback to when he starred in the video for Ed’s song “Lego House” in 2011.

Throughout the video, Ed plays a selection of different characters, including a prison officer, a therapist, a bin man and Grint’s partner.

After crossing the Malthouse Bridge, which passes over the A14, Grint looks up to see an advert at the Farnham Road underpass for Play, which is Ed’s upcoming album.

He makes it back to his family home, which is adorned with Ed Sheeran merchandise, before he goes to a Stalkers Anonymous meeting.

Now out of prison, Grint gets a job at Hengrave Hall, on the outskirts of Bury St Edmunds, as a housekeeper.

Then, while walking, Grint’s character bumps into a girl whom he ends up marrying at St Mary’s Church, which is next to St Edmundsbury Cathedral.

However, once at the altar, he lifts the veil to find Ed Sheeran.

In total, there were more than 250 outfit changes in the video, with them being sourced sustainably from second-hand shops and resale sites.

Speaking to Vogue, Ed said: “I didn’t want to be wasteful, especially as there were so many looks to get through. There are so many interesting clothes already out there, so it made sense to source them in this way.”
