The Young and the Restless knows how to bring the drama, and August 4-8 was no exception. Claire found her voice, Jill used hers loudly, and Victor’s plan had Lily on edge.
No More Miss Nice Girl For Claire
Ever since coming home from treatment to be with her family, Claire (Hayley Erin) has been on her best behavior. She’s become the dutiful daughter and doting granddaughter…until now. On Monday, she grew herself a backbone when it came to Victor (Eric Braeden) and put her foot down. He doesn’t have to like Kyle (Michael Mealor), heck, he doesn’t even have to respect him, but it’s high time he shut his trap and butt out of their love life. And, with that, Claire decided it was high time to move out.

Jill Blasted Her Son
Fans had a great time with Jill (Jess Walton) on Wednesday…which wasn’t so great for Billy (Jason Thompson). She got on the phone with her son and read him for filth over not calling to tell her Chance (Conner Floyd) was murdered. How dare! Well, Jill, you’re not exactly a saint. As it turns out, she’s known about Cane and his secret little life for a while now…and said nothing to anyone. Not even her own kid. As it turns out, the apple definitely did not fall far from the tree.

Will Lily Join The Dark Side?
We saw Victor (Eric Braeden) get his claws into Lily (Christel Khalil) on Thursday, and he wasn’t letting go. With Cane now lurking around Genoa City, Victor is on edge. He needs to figure out exactly what the new billionaire is planning, and he’s convinced Lily is the one to get the tea. So, he sat her down and proposed that she get close to her ex and uncover his shady plans. Obviously, Lily was completely and utterly horrified by the mere suggestion she so much as breathe the same air as her ex. However, The Mustache is relentless. And, what The Great VIcotr Newman wants, The Great Victor Newman gets, you got that?!
