‘E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial’ Star, 76, Is a True Icon in Rare Appearance 43 Years After the Film originally appeared on Parade.
‘E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial’ star Dee Wallace has delighted fans with a recent appearance at a fan convention.
The fan event in Texas, Houston Horror Film Fest, drew together iconic faces from the past, which included stars from “Scream,” “Nightforce,” “Supernatural,” and more. Wallace, who was seen in a sweet pic posted by “Exorcist” star Linda Blair, had fans going crazy over the pairing of the stars.
“Two iconic ladies of horror movies!” one while others referred to the two as legends.
“Two remarkable actors that changed movie history!” another added.
While Wallace didn’t specifically post from festival, fans shared their interactions with the star.
“Dee Wallace was the SWEETEST lady! Def go see her,” a fan posted to the Facebook group dedicated to the festival. The fan also shared a photo with the star and an autograph.

Wallace, of course known for her 1982 role as Mary Taylor — mom to Elliot, played by Henry Thomas, Gertie, played by Drew Barrymore and Michael, played by Robert MacNaughton — is also famous for her roles in 1981’s “The Howling” and 1983’s “Cujo.” Her more recent credits include “Stream” and “Forest Hills.”
Her next appearance will during the Popcorn Frights film festival in Fort Lauderdale on August 16th.
