Breakout country music star Ella Langley is taking some time off from touring to focus on her health.
The 26-year-old singer-songwriter posted an update on Instagram letting her fans know that she will be taking a break for the remainder of the month. She is currently on the road and has performances lined up with Morgan Wallen and Riley Green, as well as an appearance at The Listening Room in Nashville.
Her and Riley Green‘s smash hit ‘You Look Like You Love Me’ went double platinum and was number one on country radio, catapulting the Alabama native into the spotlight.
“I’m so sad to be posting this,” she wrote. “The past several weeks have been tough. I’ve been fighting sickness and feeling more run down than ever.”
The statement continued, “After a lot of thought, I’ve made the hard decision to take a couple of weeks to rest and focus on my health – mind, body, and heart. I want to be fully present for all the moments ahead, and I know I can’t do that without first taking care of myself.”

The statement concluded with a bible verse, “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. — Matthew 11:28” and detailed exactly which shows she would be absent from. “I’ll be back on the road in September, ready to give you my all,” the singer promised.
Ella’s career has seen a whirlwind year. Her 2024 debut album ‘Hungover,’ which includes ‘You Look Like You Love Me,’ was a breakthrough hit, achieving critical and commercial success. The single from the deluxe edition, ‘Weren’t for the Wind,’ also went platinum. In June, she released a new track featuring Hardy, ‘Never Met Anyone Like You,’ and just last week she shared a sneak peek of her upcoming single ‘Hell at Night’ featuring Texas rapper BigXthaPlug.
The Gen-Z country star was nominated for a whopping six Academy of Country Music Awards, taking home four trophies, including New Female Artist of the Year.
She has has been open about her struggles with mental health, especially when it comes to fame. “I won’t lie, this last week has been probably one of the toughest mental health weeks I’ve had in a long time,” she told Taste of Country Nights after her big ACM Awards win. “Which is crazy, because so many good things are happening. So many things I’ve prayed for and dreamed about.”
“That day is the brightest of my career, but it’s also the darkest,” she confessed.
