Seth Meyers on Tuesday tested Donald Trump’s claim that he “ACED” a cognitive exam he took during his annual physical.
The “Late Night” host highlighted how the president described Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-Texas) as a “Low (Very!!!) I.Q. Individual” in a recent post on his Truth Social platform before calling for her to be forced to take the exam he did “at our GREAT Washington, D.C., Military Hospital (WR!).”
Meyers hit Trump with a searing reminder, “Uh, do you mean Walter Reed? There’s nothing quite like bragging about your cognitive ability as you forget the name of the famous place you took your dementia test!”
In July, Trump hurled a similar “low IQ” attack at Crockett before bragging about his “test” results (many believe he was referring to a screening tool used to detect cognitive decline, not an IQ test).
Meyers turned to a question from the screening tool that asks individuals to name three animals: a lion, a rhinoceros and a camel.
“It is a test to make sure you don’t have brain damage, it’s the written version of a boxing referee holding up three fingers,” Meyers quipped.
“He doesn’t do that if you seem fine!”
