Fleetwood Mac bandmates Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham shared an announcement after teasing fans on social media.
The duo, who performed as Buckingham Nicks before joining Fleetwood Mac in 1974, announced they’re going to rerelease a mastered version of their 1973 self-titled album in September.
“Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks’ elusive 1973 studio album arrived September 19 with newly remastered sound for CD and digital debut,” the description in the YouTube video for their single “Don’t Let Me Down” reads.
Fans have been speculating that something has been up Nicks’ and Buckingham’s sleeves when they each coordinated social media posts featuring lyrics from “Frozen Love,” a song featured on their album.
The songstress shared handwritten lyrics, “And if you go forward,” on her Instagram. Just minutes after, Buckingham posted the rest of the lyric, “I’ll meet you there.”
