The Beckhams’ ongoing family drama shows no signs of ending anytime soon — and now, Nicole Peltz’s friend is coming to her defense.
On Wednesday, August 14, Rebecca Faria commented on a post shared by Peltz, 30, featuring photos from the Lola star’s August 2 vow renewal ceremony with husband Brooklyn Beckham.
Addressing “people who spend years in therapy over toxic family ties… judging someone who actually had the guts to walk away,” Faria wrote, “Everyone’s been kissing the Beckhams’ ass forever, and Nicola was the first to stand up for her values since [sic] couldn’t care less about their fame or money!”
“The moment they couldn’t control everything, they lost it and started planting fake press to make her look bad in the public eye,” the Detox by Rebecca founder continued, noting Peltz is “genuine, humble, and refuses to live in a fake world.”
“So if you don’t know the REAL story, don’t come here talking crap,” she shared, adding: “And Brooklyn is a grown man who can defend himself just fine! If he walked away, it’s because he knows exactly the environment he grew up in.”
According to TMZ, Brooklyn, 26, also chimed in by liking a comment shared by a follower who wrote, “Why is it assumed that she made the decision to exclude them?… If he really wanted his parents there, they would be.”
Brooklyn and his wife have been involved in a rift with his family, including parents, Victoria and David Beckham, following the young couple’s 2022 wedding.
In July, a source told Star “David and Victoria have been relentless for the last five years, constantly going after Brooklyn and Nicola,” adding the pair — who also share Romeo, 23, Cruz, 20, Harper, 14 — “just can’t seem to let Brooklyn and Nicola live their lives.”
