Fans Celebrate Anniversary of Iconic Movie Released 22 Years Ago

It’s been 22 years since the American comedy-drama film Uptown Girls first hit theaters, and fans are feeling nostalgic.

Starring the late Brittany Murphy, Dakota Fanning, Heather Locklear, Marley Shelton, Donald Faison and Jesse Spencer, Uptown Girls follows Molly Gunn (Murphy), who lands a job as a nanny after she realizes her late dad’s manager stole all her money. Ray (Fanning), the little girl Molly is babysitting, has a serious and uptight attitude that is the very opposite of Molly’s carefree one. With help from her love interest, Neal (Spencer), Molly tries to bond with Ray and learn how to be an adult.

The anniversary of the film sparked a wave of heartfelt posts, opinions and comments from fans, expressing how much this film means to them.
