Jesse Collins Entertainment is sticking with the Emmys. The shingle, which earned high marks for its role in producing an unprecedented two Emmy telecasts in 2024, has signed on to once again helm the 77th Emmys. This year’s event is set to air live on CBS (and stream on Paramount+) on Sunday, Sept. 14, live from the Peacock Theatre in downtown Los Angeles.

Jesse Collins, Dionne Harmon and Jeannae Rouzan-Clay of Jesse Collins Entertainment are all back as executive producers of the 77th Emmys, which will be hosted by comedian Nate Bargatze (as announced last week). Television Academy chair Cris Abrego announced the news on Wednesday.

“We’re thrilled to be partnering again with the talented team at Jesse Collins Entertainment,” Abrego said in a statement. “Jesse, Dionne and Jeannae are terrific collaborators who have now produced two exceptionally creative, innovative and entertaining Emmy broadcasts, and we’re excited about their approach to this year’s celebration of television.”

In January 2024, Jesse Collins Entertainment earned rave reviews for its production of the 75th Emmys on Fox, hosted by Anthony Anderson. That show, which had been delayed due to the Hollywood strikes, was lauded for its celebration of TV through several on-stage series reunions. Nine months later, they were also behind the 76th Emmys on ABC, hosted by the father/son team of Eugene Levy and Dan Levy. That ceremony also paid tribute to TV’s past, but with another twist: Performers and their iconic characters were brought together, like famous TV moms and TV cops.

“We are honored to return to produce the 77th Emmy Awards,” Collins, Harmon and Rouzan-Clay said in a joint statement. “We truly look forward to working with Cris, everyone at the Television Academy and George, Amy and Mackenzie at CBS to create another unforgettable Emmy broadcast.”

Collins, the CEO and founder of Jesse Collins Entertainment, is coming off a busy streak that included serving as an exec producer on the Grammys and also the Super Bowl Halftime Show — which landed high marks for Kendrick Lamar’s performance.

Harmon, also executive producer of all Jesse Collins Entertainment programming, is president of the shingle, while Rouzan-Clay is senior vice president of specials. Other recent productions have included the return of Netflix’s “Rhythm + Flow,” We TV’s new reality show “Tia Mowry: My Next Act,” the BET Hip Hop Awards and the launch of CBS’ revival of “Hollywood Squares,” which they’re doing in conjunction with Drew Barrymore.

The company is also behind scripted projects such as “Real Husbands of Hollywood,” “American Soul” and miniseries like “The New Edition Story” and “The Bobby Brown Story.” Jesse Collins Entertainment has also produced unscripted fare including “Cardi Tries,” “My Killer Body with K. Michelle” and “Becoming A Popstar.”

Other specials have included the American Music Awards, BET Awards, Soul Train Awards, BET Hip Hop Awards, Black Girls Rock!, BET Honors, UNCF’s An Evening of Stars and ABFF Honors. There’s also celebrity.land’s “Juneteenth: A Global Celebration of Freedom,” “A Grammy Salute to the Sounds of Change,” “Stand Up for Heroes,” “Dear Mama,” “Amanda Seales: I Be Knowin’,” “Def Comedy Jam 25”; “Leslie Jones: Time Machine,” “The All-Star Nickmas Spectacular” and “Rip the Runway.”

Collins was also selected as Variety’s 2022 Hitmakers executive of the year.

Nominations for the 77th Emmys will be announced by the Television Academy on Tuesday, July 15, streaming live at 8:30 a.m. PT on Emmys.com. Meanwhile, the Creative Arts Emmy Awards will take place on Saturday, Sept. 6 and Sunday, Sept. 7, a week before the Primetime Emmys on Sept. 14.
