Her ability to punch through dimensions made her one of the few heroes who could help during multiverse-level crises, firmly planting her in the heart of Marvel’s future.

Why America Chavez could be critical to Avengers: Doomsday
Avengers: Doomsday promises to involve the Avengers, X-Men, Fantastic Four, and New Avengers all teaming up to stop Dr. Doom after a multiverse-shaking incursion. If America returns, even briefly, she could serve as the key that literally opens the battlefield.
Speaking to ET Online, Gomez’s reactions leaned hesitant (without being dismissive) while discussing her MCU future. When asked about being part of Doomsday, she shared the interviewer’s mention of her inclusion alongside the 20+ previously announced cast, prompting an “Oh..” that felt more like curiosity than denial. Asked to describe her character in the next Avengers film using three words, she said: “Bravery, courage, and powerful.” Sounds like a big ol’ super-powered tease right there.
In a film dealing with universe-level threats, having America’s portal power on call feels like the equivalent of bringing the Molotov cocktails to an inter-dimensional showdown. And frankly, if true, that sounds absolutely insane in the best way possible. Consider us already seated.
