Claire’s Down, Nate Needs Audra to Confess

For the Monday, August 18 episode of The Young and the Restless, spoiler photos focus on Claire, who doesn’t look happy. Audra and Nate have an intense conversation in the park. And Nick and Phyllis have a tete-a-tete, but will the exes clash?

In this first image, Claire (Hayley Erin) is alone at Crimson Lights, staring into her cup of coffee. She doesn’t look happy, and it’s understandable why she’s looking so disheartened. Victor (Eric Braeden) keeps messing with her relationship with Kyle (Michael Mealor), and so does Audra (Zuleyka Silver), who kissed Kyle right in front of her. Later, Claire looks a bit better when Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) joins her. According to Monday, August 18 teasers, Nikki makes it her mission to reconcile Victor and Claire. Is this a mission impossible?

Meanwhile, at the park, Nate (Sean Dominic) and Audra are in the middle of an intense discussion. Neither of them is smiling. Nate knows that something is up with his girlfriend. And he wants to know what. He’s even more curious now that Claire attempted to tell him something serious before Victoria (Amelia Heinle) stepped in. It seems like Audra is going to remain cagey about Nice, Kyle, and the real reason why she’s not running Vibrante. At least for now.

These days, whenever Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) talk, it’s about Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) and whether or not she drank the Cane Kool-Aid. Nick can’t believe that Phyllis would really turn on people she has known for decades in favor of working for this 2.0 version that’s living on a train in Genoa City. Meanwhile, Victor tasked Nick with being the good cop when it comes to the billionaire with a loaded agenda. Will Nick let Phyllis in on his true motives for making nice with the mogul formerly known as Aristotle Dumas?
