Exciting Taylor Swift, Travis Kelce News Emerges Thursday originally appeared on Athlon Sports.
Worldwide superstar Taylor Swift made her podcast debut this week on “New Heights,” co-hosted by her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, and his brother, Jason.
Already one of the most popular sports shows since launching in 2022, the podcast reached an entirely new level with Swift’s appearance—thanks to her massive, devoted fanbase.
During the episode, Swift dropped major news: her 12th studio album, The Life of a Showgirl, will be released Oct. 3. She revealed the full track list of 12 songs, the album’s cover art, and even shared that the project will feature pop star Sabrina Carpenter.
Alongside the album announcement, Swift opened up about her growing love for football, her relationship with Kelce, and the milestone achievement of regaining full ownership of her Masters—making for a historic moment unveiled Thursday morning.
In its first 12 hours on YouTube, Swift’s episode became the most-viewed in the podcast’s history, racking up 8.7 million views and counting. It’s currently on pace to surpass 10 million within 24 hours.
The show has hosted plenty of A-list names over the years—Caitlin Clark, Adam Sandler, Brad Pitt, LeBron James, Will Ferrell, and many more—totaling 173 guests. Yet it didn’t take long for Swift to become the biggest of them all.
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce began dating around the summer of 2023, when their relationship first became public. Since then, they’ve appeared inseparable—supporting each other at every turn.
Swift has been spotted cheering Kelce on at Kansas City Chiefs games, while Kelce even joined her on stage during the “Eras Tour” in London last year. In a recent GQ interview, Kelce said that when the cameras aren’t rolling, they’re simply “two people that are in love.”
“Whenever I’m with her, it feels like we’re just regular people. When there is not a camera on us, we’re just two people that are in love,” Kelce said. “It can be perceived as something else because of how much it is talked about and how much we are tracked whenever we do go out, but I would say that it’s as normal of…. It happened very organically even though from a media standpoint it was being tracked. It still happened very organically. Nothing I’ve ever done has been a controlled, organized process. When I say it was so organic, we fell in love just based off the people we were sitting in a room together with. We are two fun-loving people who have the morals to appreciate everyone for who they are. We share all those values. It kind of just took the [explicit] off.”
