Geordie Shore star Vicky Pattison is one of 15 celebrities announced this week to be taking part in the annual series of Strictly Come Dancing, which is set to return on September 20
BBC Strictly Come Dancing’s Vicky Pattison has confessed to reassessing her “life choices” after experiencing a challenging initiation into the world of dance.
The star, known for her stint on Geordie Shore, is among the 15 celebrities announced this week who are gearing up to master the art of dance for the annual series.
Vicky is no stranger to celebrity competition, having been crowned the winner of I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here in 2015.
In a series that also featured Union J Singer George Shelley, The Only Way Is Essex’s Ferne McCann, ex-footballer Kieron Dyer and Hollyoaks’ Jorgie Porter, viewers voted Vicky as their jungle queen.
Other stars set to grace the Strictly 2025 stage include former Love Island victor Dani Dyder, Chelsea legend Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink and Thomas Skinner, reports the Manchester Evening News.

With Strictly confirmed to return on Saturday, September 20, Vicky has already commenced her training for the show.
While the identity of Vicky’s professional partner remains under wraps, she gave her Instagram followers a glimpse into her training regime on Friday (August 15).
Sharing before and after snaps from her session, Vicky was frank as she updated her 5.5 million followers on her progress.
“Our first @bbcstrictly rehearsal… The start of the day versus… the end. It certainly was a baptism of fire lads… that’s for sure! If I was doubting my ability before.. then I REALLY am now! ! !”.
“Dancing is SO HARD! No wonder those pros are all drop dead gorgeous. I feel like I’ve been hit by a car and I’ve already got blisters.. WTF? ? ?”.
“A serious new found appreciation for everyone who’s ever taken part! BUT… what an amazing day, the team are incredible, the celebs are so wonderful and the pros are an absolute joy,” she expressed.
Vicky further added: “If I hang around long enough… I think I’ll really love my new family. I’m off to think about my life choices and apologise to all the fellas I stepped all over today.”
Her post was flooded with well wishes from her celebrity friends and Strictly colleagues.
Professional dancer Julian Callion exclaimed: “You smashed it today! ! !” Jowita Przystał echoed: “Awww you smashed it today!”.
Gladiators’ Harry Aikines-Aryeetey penned: “No lies, pure facts! ! What a day! !” Dani Dyer declared: “The best day!”.
Scarlett Moffatt remarked: “Can’t wait to watch you dance now.” JB Gill advised: “It’s ALOT! ! You wait till you’re partnered up.”
