MOLS – I See: 13th Floor New Song Of The Day

New Zealand-born, currently Melbourne-based alternative R&B singer-songwriter MOLS has released her latest single, I See, now available on all major streaming platforms.

Here is the blurb with more:

Blending soulful, neo-soul-inspired grooves with heartfelt lyricism, I See is both intimate and empowering. Written during a time when her personal boundaries were being tested, MOLS crafted the track as a way to reclaim her peace and remind herself of her own strength. The song reflects on the importance of standing in your power, protecting your energy, and maintaining healthy boundaries with yourself and others.

The demo for “I See” was created by MOLS in New Zealand before being brought to life in collaboration with Melbourne-based producer JBN, who co-produced the final track. The recording also features the talents of Melbourne bassist and guitarist Izzy De Leon, whose warm instrumentation adds depth to the soulful soundscape.

Speaking about the release, MOLS shares: “I wrote I See when I was in a situation where I felt unsure how to respond, and it became like a pep talk to myself. Writing it reminded me that nobody can mess with my peace unless I let them. People will act how they want to act, but I’m in control of my response — and that’s where my power lies.”

With its warm textures and soulful melodies, I See showcases MOLS’ ability to transform personal reflection into music that resonates widely.
