Martha Stewart, who turned 81 years old earlier this month, has finally addressed recent speculation about joining a reality franchise on Bravo.
Stewart’s representative, Susan Magrino, issued a clear denial in a statement to Page Six, regarding persistent rumors that the media personality was being considered for the sixteenth season of The Real Housewives of New York.
“She says she is not a ‘Housewife,'” Magrino stated, following Stewart recently giving Megan Markle brutal advice.
The casting speculation had gained traction across social media, suggesting that Bravo executives were actively pursuing the 84-year-old businesswoman to be on the show.
Despite her rejection of the reality show opportunity, Stewart maintains connections to the RHONY world.
Her most notable feud involved former star Bethenny Frankel, which originated during Frankel’s appearance on Stewart’s 2005 competition show, The Apprentice: Martha Stewart.
During a yacht encounter, Frankel attempted to clear the air with her former mentor.
“Martha, I’m not mad at you. You’re like an ex-boyfriend that I hate, but I’m still in love with,” Frankel allegedly told Stewart at the event.
The duo reconnected during an iHeartRadio Jingle Ball event in New York City, where Frankel approached Stewart.
“I walked up to Martha and I sat down, and I said, ‘You’re amazing. What you’ve been doing is unbelievable. I’m so impressed.’ I kissed the proverbial ring,” Frankel recounted on her podcast.
Frankel continued her apology.
“I said, ‘I’m so sorry for anything that has ever happened.’ Full tail right between legs. Don’t even know what I’m sorry for, doesn’t f**king matter. Meaning like, we’re both grown-a women who have nothing to prove in this life.”

Their tension was addressed during a 2013 episode of Frankel’s talk show, Bethenny, where she directly confronted Stewart about the animosity.
“It was such a big moment in my life, I kinda just wanted to know what you were feeling. It felt like you didn’t like me to be honest with you,” Frankel said.
Stewart’s response was rather blunt, “You were a pest.”
By December 2023, Frankel confirmed on her Just B with Bethenny Frankel podcast that their rivalry had been resolved.
“The comments that she’s made to me are insane and the comments that I’ve made back are insane. It’s really been like this nemesis, sort of friendly rivalry,” the 54-year-old explained.
“It was back and forth, but it was never vicious. It was just sort of like, healthy battle, you know? And for no good reason,” Frankel added.
