Announcing her second season Meghan captioned the post, “The best moments are made to be shared [gold-sparkle emoji] With Love, Meghan returns August 26th on @netflix.”
However just hours later Taylor made her own announcement. Garnering more than 167 million views within 24 hours, the 35 year old Taylor appeared on the New Heights podcast to reveal her forthcoming album, The Life of a Showgirl, reports the Express.
According to an exclusive report from Royal commentator Rob Shuter, Meghan was reportedly displeased with Taylor’s timing. Mr Shuter claims the former senior Royal allegedly felt that the American singer-songwriter deliberately shifted attention away from her announcement.
Discussing the trailer for With Love, Meghan’s second season, a source revealed, “Meghan thought her trailer would own the news cycle.”
The source went on to say, “Then Taylor’s announcement came in like a wrecking ball. Meghan’s convinced it wasn’t just bad luck.”
Describing Meghan’s alleged reaction, the source added, “She saw this as her comeback moment, then Taylor took all the oxygen out of the room.”
The inaugural season of With Love, Meghan, which comprised eight episodes, debuted in March 2025. Mirroring the first season, the second will also consist of eight episodes. These will all drop on Netflix at the same time – midnight for US viewers and 8am for those in the UK.
Just as in the first season, Meghan will be accompanied by a slew of friends in this season – including model Chrissy Teigen, beauty guru Daniel Martin, and author Jay Shetty.
