Welcome to Plathville has released a mid-season trailer revealing the much talked-about injury Micah Plath reportedly sustained at his sister Lydia Plath Wyse‘s wedding.
As the season reaches its midpoint, conflicts between the Plath family, Veronica Peters, and Zack Wyse come to a head. The new teaser captures the intensity of the unfolding drama.
The moment that grabbed the most attention on Instagram was Micah’s first on-camera appearance after the injury he reportedly sustained from his brother, Issac, during Lydia’s wedding. “So, I got a couple of stitches last night,” Micah revealed while showing off his broken nose.
The injury was initially revealed by Veronica on Reddit, where she has been spilling tea about the Plath family since the season’s beginning. In a lengthy Instagram video posted on July 1, 2025, prior to the new season, Veronica shared her experiences with the clan, captioning the clip, “My voice and safety are more important than pocket change.”

Fans had plenty to say about the trailer, which shows how the Plath’s unite against Veronica and Zack. One remains quiet about their issues with the clan while the other says, “Let’s just say that if they keep f****** with me, more bombs drop.”
“It’s like a trainwreck I can’t stop watching,” wrote one follower on Instagram of the newest season of the TLC series. “Even if Veronica is right, and she could be, she’s going about it all wrong,” deduced a second viewer.
“I can’t believe this show is even on the air! It is painful to watch,” claimed a third fan. A fourth stated, “This show is not even believable at this point.”
In other scenes, Lydia, her mom Kim, and sister Amber go wedding dress shopping. However, Kim believes that she has to be the adult throughout the wedding planning while her ex-husband, Barry, wants to be the “fun, approving dad. He doesn’t want to be the mean dad that’s asking hard questions.”
Ethan and Veronica’s conflict continues throughout the remainder of the season. He calls her “quite the little demon” saying he “despises her with the fury of a thousand suns.”
In the teaser’s final scene, the Plaths confront Veronica. The family confronts Veronica. “You have attacked every single one of us,” says Kim. “Amber, Issac, Kaylann, Teegan, my mom, Ethan, even people that are not here,” Micah added, saying, “either I choose her over my family or I just cut ties.”
