Korea’s BTS Releases Four Concert Films Ahead Of Comeback

K-pop’s iconic boyband BTS will launch a series of remastered concert films, ahead of their highly-anticipated comeback.

Four concert films will premiere under the “BTS Movie Weeks” banner across 2,500 theaters in over 65 countries from September 24 to October 5.

BTS confirmed last month that a full-length album will be released in spring 2026, alongside a world tour, marking the group’s long-awaited return. In 2022, the group went on hiatus, to allow members Jin, Suga, J-hope, RM, Jimin, V and Jung Kook to complete Korea’s mandatory military service and pursue solo activities.

Bighit Music, BTS’ record label, said that the films have been remastered in 4K ultra-high definition and 5.1 surround sound, to “allow fans to relive the power of BTS’ legendary live performances on the big screen.”

In the first week, two films will be screened: BTS’ 2016 performance “On Stage : Epilogue” and 2017’s “Live Trilogy Episode III: The Wings Tour —The Final.”

In the second week, the remaining two features will be released in theaters: 2019 world tour “Love Yourself: Speak Yourself — London” and 2021’s “Muster Sowoozoo.”

BTS’ 2019 world tour performance in London helped the record-breaking group to make history as the first non-English-speaking act to perform two consecutive sold-out shows at Wembley Stadium, drawing an audience of over 120,000 people.

Trafalgar Releasing has partnered Korea’s HYBE for the global film rollout.
