Calling their Montreal meet-up a “casual first get-to-know-you date,” the source told the outlet that this might be the extent to which their connection might last, at least for now. The insider continued, “And although they have shared interests and plenty to talk about, dating just isn’t on her radar.” Perry reportedly has stayed in touch with the former Canadian prime minister, but there have been no current plans for another get-together.
Perry and Trudeau’s initial dinner date took place at Le Violon on July 28. The latter even attended the singer’s The Lifetimes Tour concert at Montreal’s Bell Centre two days later.
