Congratulations are in order for Millie Bobby Brown and Jake Bongiovi. The pair have welcomed their first child, a baby girl, via adoption.
The pair announced the happy news in a joint Instagram post today.
“This summer we welcomed our sweet baby girl through adoption. We are beyond excited to embark on this beautiful next chapter of parenthood in both peace and privacy,” they wrote. “And then there were 3.”
The actors’ entrance into parenthood comes about one year after they married in an intimate ceremony. The Stranger Things star and the son of rock legend Jon Bon Jovi first sparked romance rumors in June 2021, made their relationship Instagram-official later that year, and got engaged in 2023.
In an Instagram post announcing their engagement, Brown quoted lyrics from Taylor Swift’s romantic hit “Lover,” which the pop star wrote about then-boyfriend Joe Alwyn. “I’ve loved you three summers now, honey, I want ’em all 🤍,” Brown wrote of Bongiovi.
Later, during a guest appearance on The Tonight Show, Brown told host Jimmy Fallon that Bongiovi proposed to her underwater, as the two initially bonded over a shared love of diving. At one point, in her excitement, she accidentally dropped the diamond ring—but luckily, Bongiovi was able to catch it. Reflecting on the romantic incident, Brown concluded: “It’s a reflection of who he is, and I feel like we’re always going to have each other’s back, and if anyone drops the ball, we got it.”
