Jennifer Aniston’s new boyfriend, Jim Curtis, is a breath of fresh air.
The hypnotherapist “feels different” than the A-lister’s past exes, a source told People Friday.
The insider added that Aniston, 56, felt hesitant to jump back into the dating pool and “didn’t date seriously for a while,” but felt comfortable doing so with Curtis, whom the source described as “great.”
“Her close friends love him. He’s amazing to be around,” the insider continued to gush to the magazine. “He has this really calm and secure energy. Jen loves it.”
The source also said that the wellness entrepreneur has helped the “Friends” alum “slow down a bit,” as she’s used to “going 100 miles an hour while balancing projects.”
In July, an insider made similar remarks to Us Weekly, stating Aniston’s new romance was “very zen.”
“They’ve been hanging out a lot, but very much on the DL at her home in LA,” the source said at the time. “They’re a good match.”
Aniston and Curtis first sparked dating rumors in July when they were seen vacationing in Mallorca.
However, Page Six exclusively reported that same month that a spy had actually seen the pair getting cozy during an outing in Big Sur California a month prior to that Spanish sighting.
Since then, the couple has gone on several double dates out in the open, confirming their romance.
Curtis is Aniston’s first public relationship since her split from Justin Theroux in 2018 after more than two years of marriage. Page Six reported at the time that the exes called it quits in part due to differences in where they wanted to reside.
“Jennifer is more comfortable in Los Angeles with her close-knit group of friends,” an insider previously explained. “But Justin doesn’t feel as at home in LA, nor with Jennifer’s friends, he loves New York, and the edgier crowd in the city.”
Aniston was also once famously married to Brad Pitt from 2000 to 2005. The “F1” star, 61, reportedly approves of his ex-wife’s latest love match.
“Brad couldn’t be more pleased that Jen has found love with this guy who seems so tuned into her,” a source told the Daily Mail in July.
“When you find the right partner, all’s right with the world. He hopes the same is true about Jen.”
People’s insider noted Friday that Curtis “supports” Aniston “in a way that feels new,” adding that the life coach is teaching the movie star to “really appreciate and feel proud of everything she’s built.”
Reps for Aniston did not immediately return Page Six’s request for comment.
