It’s quittin’ time for Morgan Wallen when it comes to the Grammy Awards—and fans are here for his choice.

Despite the massive success of his latest album, I’m The Problem, the country megastar, 32, has opted out of submitting the project or any of its 37 tracks for 2026 Grammy consideration. Hits Daily Double reported the news on August 19, and Wallen’s team confirmed it to Pitchfork on August 20.

However, artists like Post Malone, Tate McRae, and Eric Church—who each have a song with Wallen on the album—could still decide to enter their own submissions, though it’s unclear if they will at this time.

On August 23, Wallen posted a video on Instagram from his uber-popular I’m The Problem Tour, and fans took to the comments to praise his Grammys decision.

“This is our Grammy show right here with Morgan Wallen front & center that’s all we need & our trophy is the Lord above us!” one wrote.

“An Artist who is ‘real’ enough to know that he doesn’t want to be bothered with the being put in a category. You are in your own class @morganwallen and we the people need you to keep being you!”

A third fan said, in part, “Literally the best concert of my entire life!” before adding that Wallen has “MADE IT.”

“Glad he tapped out on the Grammys! We all know he’s deserved to win a lot and they’re mad he won’t bow down to them,” the same fan claimed.

The “TN” singer notably received his first Grammy nomination in 2025 for his 2024 hit “I Had Some Help” with Malone, which was the lead single on the “Sunflower” singer’s sixth studio album, F-1 Trillion. However, Wallen has released chart-toppers since his 2018 debut studio album, If I Know Me.

Although his talent has led to an illustrious career, the megastar hasn’t been immune to controversy. He faced major backlash in 2021 for using a racial slur and was arrested for reckless endangerment in 2024.

Despite these incidents, the Recording Academy hasn’t provided a reason for Wallen’s lack of Grammy recognition.

The Tennessee native kicked off his 2025 I’m The Problem Touron June 20 in Houston, Texas.

He then performed in Madison, Wisconsin; Miami Gardens, Florida; Glendale, Arizona; Seattle, Washington; Santa Clara, California; and Cleveland, Ohio.

Wallen put on a show to remember in Foxborough, Massachusetts, on August 22. He is set to perform there again today, August 23, before heading to Toronto, Ontario on September 4-5.

He will head to Edmonton, Alberta on September 12 before concluding the tour there on September 13.
