Season 19 of The Real Housewives of Orange County has been filled to the brim with drama. Katie Ginella is feuding with everyone, and Tamra Judge briefly quit the show. Plus, Gretchen Rossi returned after a 12-year hiatus to annoy Tamra. However, is Alexis Bellino primed and ready for a Season 20 return?
As you may recall, Alexis was part of Season 18 of RHOC, and she feuded with Shannon Beador. Alexis was dating and later became engaged to John Janssen, who previously dated Shannon. In addition, John was suing Shannon for $75,000. In the end, Alexis stated that she “was not asked back.”

According to Bravo and Cocktails, “Producers have begun eyeing a full-time return for Alexis Bellino to spotlight her pre- and post-marital journey with John Janssen.” Reportedly, executives are having some regret about picking Shannon over Alexis. Shannon “has been increasingly difficult to film with (refusing to reconcile with certain castmates and experiencing frequent emotional meltdowns).”
Bravo and Cocktails also claimed that the Season 20 cast would include Alexis, Tamra, Heather Dubrow, Emily Simpson, Gina Kirschenheiter, and Jennifer Pedranti. Allegedly, Gretchen would return in a friend of the housewives role again, as long as she ends the season “on a decent note.” Meanwhile, it is expected that Katie will leave the show.
Also, a new housewife acquainted with Gretchen or Heather would allegedly snag an orange. Reportedly, Shannon would be offered a “reduced” role as a “friend.” These reports haven’t been verified, and Bravo usually keeps casting details under wraps.
Since she previously stated that she wouldn’t film with Alexis again, Shannon being offered a reduced role would make sense. Meanwhile, Alexis recently celebrated at her bridal shower, and Tamra attended, as well as RHOC alum Jo De La Rosa.
The Real Housewives of Orange County airs on Thursdays at 8/7c on Bravo. It streams on Hayu in the UK and Ireland.
