Ryan Gosling is Team Coco!
The famously private actor and his longtime love, Eva Mendes, are not known for hanging out with the Hollywood crowd — but they’ve made an exception for Conan O’Brien.
“They’ve socialized with Conan regularly over the 15 or so years that Conan has lived in L.A.,” a source tells Globe, adding that O’Brien, 62, and his wife, Liza, even go on “double dates” with Mendes, 51, and Gosling, 44.

The A-lister and the talk show host got close when Ryan became a “favorite” guest on the comedian’s eponymous talk show on TBS, says the source, noting that Gosling often joked about Mendes’ love for O’Brien.
“They would do some pretty elaborate bits together that almost always went viral,” adds the source.
Gosling has long been a “student of comedy,” adds the source, and has been especially “fascinated” by the Conan O’Brien Must Go host, says the source.
“Conan is his Obi-Wan Kenobi. He helped him sharpen his skills. Ryan’s Oscar-nominated role in Barbie was a culmination of that.”
O’Brien, in turn, is getting dramatic acting tips from the Notebook star. “Conan’s leaning on Ryan as he starts to dip into film acting opportunities,” says the source, pointing to his upcoming film, If I Had Legs, I’d Kick You, opposite Rose Byrne.
“Conan is showing real skill at film acting,” says the source. “You may see him turn up with Ryan in a movie together!”
