Best of Broadway: What shows we’re rooting for on Tony Awards night

Big Time Rush have announced their return to Australia for a three-date east coast tour in March 2026. The shows will take place as part of the American boy band’s In Real Life world tour, which will see them revisiting the soundtrack to their eponymous TV show that ran on Nickelodeon from 2009 to 2013. The full list of tour dates, as well as pre-sale and ticketing information, can be found below.

“We truly have the best fans in the world, and when we sat down to plot this tour we wanted to give them everything they have always asked us for and dreamed of,” the group offered in a joint press statement announcing the tour. “That’s the reason we are so excited to be going on the road, all over the world, to play every song from every episode of the TV show. We know how many of our fans hold these songs close to their hearts, having first heard so many of them watching our show.”

Joining the group on tour will be Katelyn Tarver and Stephen Kramer Glickman. Both were cast members on Big Time Rush; Tarver played aspiring singer Jo Taylor, who was band member Kendall’s girlfriend, while Glickman played Gustavo Rocque, the record executive that put the group together. Tarver has since launched her own musical career, releasing her third album Quitter last year. However, press materials do not specify Glickman’s exact role as the live show opening act.

The real-life boy band was created in 2009 in tandem with the television show. They remained active after the show’s conclusion in 2013, but ultimately split a year later. They would later reconvene in 2021 to tour the US, and even released their first non-show-affiliated album in Another Life circa 2023. The following year, the group toured Australia for the very first time, as well as across Asia.
