Taylor Swift and Blake Lively are both enjoying exciting milestones in their lives.
Lively turned 38 years old on Monday, August 25, and on Tuesday, she continued celebrating by reposting multiple birthday tributes from family and friends on her Instagram Story. The same day, Swift, 35, revealed that she and Travis Kelce are engaged via a joint Instagram post set to her hit song “So High School.”
While the two starlets used to have a strong and public-facing friendship, a source told People, earlier this month, “Taylor and Blake aren’t speaking.”
Bad blood between the Gossip Girl alum and the singer-songwriter allegedly began in January 2025, after Lively’s It Ends With Us costar Justin Baldoni brought Swift into his lawsuit against Lively.
The Jane the Virgin alum, 41, claimed in a legal filing that the “Lover” songstress was involved in a meeting at Lively’s New York City home regarding the movie. He also alleged that Lively referred to herself as Khaleesi from Game of Thrones, and the 14-time Grammy Award winner as one of her “dragons.”
Additionally, in May, TMZ reported that Baldoni’s legal team initially subpoenaed Swift to be a witness in the legal battle, but they dropped it weeks later.
