UPDATE: Eligible customers will receive Early Exit cash credits within 24 hours.
White Sox OF Luis Robert Jr. exited Tuesday’s game vs. the Royals early due to soreness in his left hamstring. He was replaced by Michael Taylor in center field and Robert Jr. is expected to undergo further testing on his injury.
Before leaving the game, Robert Jr. failed to record any stats in only one trip to the plate. We are just over a month away from the conclusion of the regular season, and with Chicago sitting at a 48-83 record, you would imagine that the organization will be extremely precautionary with him for the rest of this season. Rushing him back with nothing to play for would be malpractice.
Not much went right for the White Sox this season, Robert Jr. included. Hopefully, he can get healthy and be ready for a bounce back season in 2026.
