Actress Anne Hathaway tumbled down stars after one of her heels broke during filming for the Devil Wears Prada sequel.
The hit 2006 film has fans in a frenzy with production officially underway in New York City.
Cameras started rolling in June as Vogue chief Anna Wintour — who inspired the Miranda Priestly character Anne plays in the movie — annouced she was stepping down from her position editor-in-chief of the fashion house.
Anne appeared appeared to be unhurt by her fall as she immediately got on her feet and kept on smiling.
She then threw her arms in the air, and told people nearby that she was not injured.
The original novel was adapted from a roman à clef by the real Anna’s former assistant, Lauren Weisberger
Anna Wintour told The New York Times at the time she was “looking forward to reading the book.”
But a source close to her Anna said she thought she was the “spitting fire” behind the scenes and “felt she had been used and abused by Weisberger.”
Several years after the film’s release, Anna was asked by celebrity.land interview if she thought her ex-assistant’s novel was a “breach of trust.”
She responded, “Well… I think that she brought attention to fashion in a way that, you know, you can look at it in a negative way or a positive way. I choose to look at it in a positive way. In some ways, I think I should be grateful to her.”
