Comanche Nation Entertainment says the War Pony Casino will close next month.
The War Pony, which opened its doors in 2022, is located near Devol in Cotton County.
A release from Comanche Nation Entertainment says the casino will close until further notice beginning Sept. 24.
Comanche Nation Entertainment did not announce a reason for the closure of the War Pony.
Comanche Nation Entertainment also recently announced expansion plans for the nearby Red River Hotel and Casino, located just a few miles away.
That expansion includes an event center, approximately 150 additional slot machines, 15 table games, a new bar and food service areas and non-gaming attractions including an arcade and virtual golf suites.
