New Music from Nemo, Jerry Heil, Zoë Më and more

Summer is the quiet period for Eurovision fans as we wait for the new season to commence. Thankfully, the music will always continue and a number of Eurovision artists are still producing new songs for us to enjoy.

The horMones: Over-50s punk band releases first songs

Contrary to the commonly perpetuated myth about the song contest killing careers, we’re always thrilled to report that singers associated with Eurovision are thriving.

Here is our latest weekly roundup with a selection of the songs released recently by Eurovision stars.

New music from Eurovision artists: 2025 | Week 35

Nemo – “God’s a Raver”

This week we’re starting our round-up with the Swiss winner of Eurovision 2024, Nemo. Their long-awaited album Arthouse is on the way, meeting the world on 10 October, but until then Nemo teases us with a new song. They don’t disappoint with this release, bringing a pop tune that’s playful yet carries a deep message of acceptance for all forms of love. The chorus reminds us that love can never be wrong and no form of it should ever be forbidden: “If there’s a God/ We just met at the gay bar/ She is a raver/ Just like me.”

The music video follows a series of “fantastic adventures” that Nemo posted on Instagram recently, but mainly shows a fantastic journey of finding a magical music cassette that transports them into a different dimension filled with incredible characters. Nemo becomes the Mad Hatter and even teases the tracklist of their upcoming album, so keep your eyes open during this cinematic video that blends music and poetry. About their newest song, Nemo said:

“Being at the arthouse reminded me that love takes many forms – romantic, platonic, and also something more collective, even communal. My time there has shown me that creatures with far less in common than we humans share can still love one another deeply. So why does our world make it so hard to choose love? I always want to choose love. Here’s to a song that without love, wouldn’t exist.”

Jamala & Raja – “Zorya”

Jamala, the Ukrainian winner of Eurovision 2016, released a collaboration this week with fellow Ukrainian artist Raja, known for blending traditional Ukrainian sounds with electronic music. Their new track, “Star,” follows the same path. The song delivers a message of hope for anyone facing difficult times, serving as a reminder that even in the darkest moments, there’s always a star guiding the way. The star becomes a symbol of hope, inner strength, and belief in a new dawn, as Jamala sings: “Bright star, you burn/ Through the darkness, hold me/ Clear light is my beacon/ In your eyes I see the way/ Bright star/ Bright light/ Your rays will not fade.”

Neffa feat. Mahmood – “Lunarossa”

Mahmood, who represented Italy in Eurovision twice—first as a solo artist in 2019 and then in 2022 in a duet with Blanco—is back this week with a new collaboration. This time, he teamed up with Neffa, a well-known Italian singer, rapper, and producer. Their track, “Red Moon,” comes with a futuristic, apocalyptic visualiser where Mahmood delivers his flawless vocals while Neffa takes charge of the rap verses.

The lyrics speak about a breakup that makes you feel trapped in a different, dysfunctional world, with the chorus saying: “And now/ It’s still not clear what I’ll do/ While I’m looking at a different world/ I count the things I’ve lost/ And now I’m waiting for you/ In my mind the words I have/ They get mixed up with the sound of the wind/ With the things that don’t leave the time/ To come back again.”

Jerry Heil – “Додай гучності (12 points)”

Jerry, who competed for Ukraine in 2024 together with alyona alyona, is back this week with a new track called “Turn up the volume (12 points),” a title that instantly sparks Eurovision vibes. And yes, there is a reference, but first it’s fair to say that the song brings out the best of Jerry’s vocals, blending modern and traditional sounds with a touch of classical influence. The track has all the ingredients of a Eurovision hit and is performed half in Ukrainian, half in English. Even before its official release, the song went viral on TikTok, sparking thousands of fan-made clips.

The Ukrainian verses speak about walking away from the things that hurt you, staying strong, and finding a new path: “I will drive away fatigue and pain, I will drive away the car/ My dear, you are worthy of choosing a better path/ She brought back the sparkle in her eyes, even though her chest still burns/ She licked the wounds, got up and left.”

Meanwhile, the English part makes a playful Eurovision reference, highlighting the need for visibility, validation, and acceptance: “Car’s my Eurovision club/ Making music, making love/ Singing like I own this mic/ Will you give 12 points to me tonight?”

About the song, Jerry said:

This song is my mantra of strength. The line ‘stood up and walked on and on’ is what keeps me going every time life gets hard. I allow myself a minute to feel low, but then I stand up, add volume to my dreams, and move forward. Because even when the sky cries — you can be your own rainbow.

This song is also my tribute to Eurovision. I tried many times to get to the contest, cried after losing, promised myself I wouldn’t try again… and still kept going. Finally, Eurovision happened — together with alyona alyona we worked hard, and finishing 3rd was an amazing moment. But as a perfectionist, I realized: it’s not about the points. No score can make you feel enough if you don’t value yourself first.

Flo Rida, Pitbull & IAmChino – “Borracho y Loco”

The internationally known rapper Flo Rida, who took part in Eurovision 2021 representing San Marino together with Senhit, is back this week with a new release. He teams up with Pitbull and IAmChino for an electrifying club banger called “Drunk and Crazy.” The music video takes inspiration from the famous video game GTA, matching the high-energy vibe of the track.

The song is actually a reimagined version of the hit “Everytime We Touch,” originally released in 2005 by the German group Cascada, who later represented Germany at Eurovision 2013.

Gabry Ponte & Steve Aoki – “Stewpid”

And speaking about club bangers, you’re not ready for the next duo. San Marino’s 2025 representative Gabry Ponte joined forces with American DJ and producer Steve Aoki, and the result will simply blow your mind. The track comes with an official lyric video featuring an anime-inspired visualiser. The lyrics capture the confusion that love can bring: “I feel stupid/ With you on my mind, mind/ If you’d only think of me/ I’d be happy all the time/ Am I crashing/ Or am I really flying?”

Zoë Më – “Durch die Nacht”

Харфанг feat. Kalush Orchestra – “Фісташки”

Kalush Orchestra, winners of Eurovision 2022 for Ukraine, have just released a fresh collaboration with Harfang titled “Pistachios.” The track appears on Harfang’s new album and delivers a captivating fusion of traditional Ukrainian sounds, rap, and a modern twist. With its authentic rhythms and vibrant energy, the song instantly connects listeners to the raw beauty of Ukraine’s musical heritage.

Sara Jo – “El Dinero”

Greczula feat. Carola – “På egna ben”

Rosa Linn & Gary Barlow – “Out Here Looking”

ela. – “wer weiß”

C21 feat. Anja Nissen – “Stuck In My Heart”

Aiko – “Shotgun”

O.TORVALD – “Антибіотики”

The rock band O.TORVALD competed for Ukraine in 2017. The new song, “Antibiotics” brings a cool retro vibe in both its sound and visuals. Yet, the message of the song is a deep one, as the band talks about addictions that people try to cure themselves from. It was born spontaneously, but became one of the most honest works of the band.

Melancholy romance and a cry of the soul, where sometimes “medicine” is needed, and sometimes – time and patience. This is a song about the fight against internal diseases, about the temptation to dive headlong into them, and at the same time about the hope of finding your own “antibiotics” that help you live on.

Lenny Kuhr – “Boven alle maren”

Which of these new songs is your favourite? Have we missed out on any? Do you have any artists you want to shout out to? Let us know in the comments.
