You can sense her inbound, almost like “telepatía.” Kali Uchis is bringing her Colombian-rooted, sensual R&B to Moody Center for the Sincerely, Tour, supported by Thee Sacred Souls, on Sunday. Her fourth headlining tour promotes her fifth album “Sincerely,” which came out in May.

The 31-year-old singer, also known as Karly Marina Loaiza, last performed in Austin at Moody Amphitheater in 2023, the same year she was set to play Austin City Limits Music Festival but pulled out last minute. She did, however, play both weekends of ACL Fest in 2019, soon after her breakout album “Isolation” dropped in 2018. She also played at ACL Fest in 2015.

Who is Kali Uchis?

Kali Uchis is a Colombian American dream pop singer who hit the mainstream after her 2018 album “Isolation” gained traction with songs “Just A Stranger,” “Dead To Me” and “After The Storm” featuring Tyler, the Creator. She’s been a longtime collaborator of Tyler, the Creator since first appearing on “Find Your Wings” and “Perfect” from “Cherry Bomb” (2015) and the song “See You Again” on “Flower Boy” (2017). The Billboard-charting Latin idol gave birth to her first child in March 2024 with longtime partner, Houston-born rapper Don Toliver.

According to interviews Uchis has given over the last year, motherhood has changed how she approaches her work. In an Aug. 18 conversation with Billboard, she said her performances will carry a “renewed, refreshed feeling” now that she has “body back” following her pregnancy. Uchis told the publication that she is ready to put all her energy into each stop of this tour, pondering (to the dismay of many fans), “Who knows how many more shows I will do after this?” Luckily, she blessed us with a new song she made with Mariah the Scientist, “Is It a Crime,” on July 31.

What songs can we expect on Kali Uchis’ setlist?

Kali Uchis’ setlist for the Sincerely Tour starts with 10 songs from her most recent album, “Sincerely” (2025). After running through those, she is expected to sing “Muñekita,” her 2024 collab with El Alfa before covering “Un Poco Loca” originally by Jowell & Randy. She then dives into selections from “Orquídeas” (2024) with a couple interludes for her Amaarae cover “Sad Grilz Luv Money” and a rendition of Cris MJ’s “SI NO ES CONTIGO.”

Going back to her early catalog, her next five songs come from her debut album “Por Vida” that came out in 2015. Uchis then launches into three songs from “Isolation” (2018) with “Your Teeth in My Neck,” “Dead to Me” and “After the Storm.” She then gives her collabs with Tyler, the Creator a shout out by performing his 2017 hit “See You Again.” Based on past tour setlists, she should be bringing out five songs from 2020’s “Sin Miedo (del Amor y Otros Demonios),” including “telepatía.” The Latin music star is expected to close out the show with two songs from her third album “Red Moon in Venus” (2023): “I Wish You Roses” and “Moonlight.”

An encore is likely, and we sure can speculate on what Kali Uchis will surprise us with. In some tour stops, she has tacked on a couple of songs from her latest album, perhaps “Fall Apart” and “Territorial.” However, if we’re really lucky the encore may treat us to the unreleased track she’s been teasing during this tour, called “Cry About It.”

Heading to Moody Center? Here’s what you need to know

Where is Moody Center? Where do I park?

With over 15,000 seats, Moody Center has become the go-to arena for popular touring artists since opening in 2022. Located on the University of Texas at Austin campus at 2001 Robert Dedman Drive, the venue gives you the option to pre-purchase a parking spot at one of five nearby parking garages ahead of the show: Manor Garage, Trinity Garage, Parking Garage B, State Garage G and State Garage R. The ADA drop-off and pick-up area is located northwest of the venue on Robert Dedman Drive. The box office is at the southwest corner of the arena.

There are two entrances, on the west and east sides of the building. Guests must pass through metal detectors and a bag search before entry.

At the end of the night, designated rideshare drop-off and pick-up is on Clyde Littlefield Drive. The roads surrounding Moody Center get congested after events, so expect a slow departure from the area, but hot dog vendors are often stationed outside if you’re hungry for a late-night snack.

What is the bag policy at Moody Center? What can I bring?

Moody Center permits clear bags that do not exceed 14″ x 14″ x 6″ or small clutch purses that do not exceed 5″ x 9″ x 1.5″ for their events. The venue prohibits recording equipment apart from smartphones. Smoking and vaping are not allowed on the premises. Find a full list of allowed and prohibited items at moodycenteratx.com.

Inside the Moody Center: Food, drink and seating

There are two levels inside the arena, with entrance portals labeled to identify the section where you’re seated. Upper-level seating is terraced and Moody Center does permit binoculars. Front-of-stage seating is also available for purchase, but the space is a standing area for some concerts. Premium suites are also available. The venue follows a “no re-entry policy.” Guests who exit the building during an event will not be admitted back inside. However, if you need some air, there is a spacious balcony on the second level.

Inside the complex, you will find a variety of food and beverage options available for purchase from vendors, including pizza slices from Tony C’s, brisket sandwiches from Stubb’s Bar-B-Q, and ice cream cones from Mister Softee. Alcohol is also available for purchase. All transactions at Moody Center are completely cashless and prices tend to be steep. There are no water refill stations at the venue, but there are frequently water coolers outside on hot days.
