Love Island favourite Yasmin Pettet has revealed her next career move following the villa, and she’s treading the same path as some major celebrities.
The Season 12 contestant finished third in the summer series alongside partner Jamie Rhodes, just behind runners-up Shakira Khan and Harry Cooksley. Meanwhie Toni Laites and Cach Mercer claimed the series crown, reports OK!
Now, the breakout star – lovingly nicknamed YasGPT by viewers – has disclosed her upcoming plans. Taking to her Instagram stories, she hinted that the “cat’s out the bag” whilst sharing a post revealing she had secured representation with a globally renowned modelling agency.
Storm Management announced today (September 1) that they were now handling the Islander, overseeing “Yasmin’s PR, social partnerships, branding and collaborations, television, modelling, licensing and creative strategy.”

Their statement declared: “Yasmin Pettet captured attention on Love Island before graduating the show with a groundbreaking editorial for the iconic i-D Magazine which subsequently broke the internet. Since then, she has already collaborated with major names including Marc Jacobs and Rimmel.
“With passions spanning fashion, beauty, and fitness, Yasmin’s fearless, edgy aesthetic positions her within the new wave of British It girls; challenging conventions and breaking the mould.”
The modelling and talent agency, renowned for discovering supermodel Kate Moss at an airport and signing her as a teenager, still boasts some of the world’s most famous and recognisable models on its books, despite Moss leaving Storm in 2016 after a 28-year tenure.
Yasmin’s fellow Love Island co-stars were quick to inundate the comments section with their congratulations, including winner Toni who simply wrote: “Slayyyyyyyyyyy,” while runner-up Shakira chimed in with: “You go baby.”
Meanwhile, Yasmin’s partner Jamie posted a heartfelt message that read: “Congratulations darling,” accompanied by a heart emoji, with Shakira’s other half Harry commenting: “Niceeee Yazzzyyy,” alongside a clapping emoji.
Gio Russo, who featured in Love Island’s summer series as a bombshell, also offered a message of support, writing: “Love it Yas, congratulations.”
