While she may be beloved for starring in the 1985 classic The Goonies, Martha Plimpton doesn’t want to sit down and watch the movie anytime soon.
Asked when was the last time she caught it on TV, Plimpton, 54, laughed. “Nope. I don’t watch it,” she allowed. “I’ve seen it once, and that’s good. I don’t know what to tell you.”

But there was one project from her past that Plimpton was drawn to revisit recently. “A few months ago I was curious to watch [1989’s] Parenthood, and I did,” she says. “That’s a really lovely movie.”
Despite her aversion to seeing The Goonies, Plimpton did reunite with its stars, Sean Astin, Corey Feldman, Kerri Green, Robert Davi and Joe Pantoliano at Awesome Con in April for a panel moderated by PEOPLE’s Breanne L. Heldman.

There, the cast confirmed that they’d love to be a part of the Goonies sequel, which is currently in development with director Steven Spielberg; original screenwriter Chris Columbus is also attached to the project. The late Richard Donner directed and co-wrote the original film.
Plimpton, 54, told the crowd, “I think [fans are] going to see The Goonies 2, whether we’re in it or not. I think that’s pretty obvious. At least, I hope [they] will.”
The actress, who is now starring as a career FBI agent, Kathleen McGinty, in the new HBO drama series, Task, sat down to share a few more “last”s with PEOPLE for One Last Thing:

Last obsession
It must be something about turning 50, but I’m obsessed with bird-watching. I downloaded that app from Cornell that tells you what [species] it is, and I’m obsessed with filling my bird list.
Last road trip
I’ve had dogs a long time, and I don’t like to put them in cargo on a plane, so I’ve driven across the country 17 or 18 times. I have an Airstream, and there’s a whole world of campers who are very friendly, but they leave you alone—because they want to be left alone.

Last time my dog made me laugh
Jimmy Jazz loves to go mole hunting. He’s staying with my mom because I’m traveling, and she sent me this picture of him. He’s cream-colored, but he was just black, covered in mud, head to toe. It was hilarious.

Last moment of bliss
I volunteer at some stables that do equine therapy. And when I do, I don’t have to focus on anything except this huge, 1,200-lb. animal. They’re so sensitive; I just like being in their presence. Mucking out a stall and grooming them makes me really, really happy.
