Emily Maynard has a lot to celebrate!
On Tuesday, September 2, the former Bachelorette star’s youngest son, Jones — who she shares with husband Tyler Johnson — turned 3 years old.
The TV personality, 39, posted an Instagram carousel to commemorate his special day, which included an adorable video of the little one walking.
“A big week for my jones west! Turned 3 years old and had his first day of preschool,” she captioned her post. “I love this boy so big my heart can’t handle it sometimes. Just another reminder that God’s plan and His timing is always so much sweeter than our own ❤️.”
Johnson also posted a video of the family singing the “Happy Birthday” song to Jones along with two sweet photos in his own Instagram post.
“Warrior boy is 3 ⚔️💙💛,” he wrote in the caption. “Love you so much Jones!!!”
Back in 2022, Maynard — who also shares kids Jennings, 9, Gibson, 8, Gatlin, 7, and Magnolia, 4, with Johnson — revealed that Jones was born with Down syndrome.
During an interview with People, the reality star opened up about her son, who was also born with a rare congenital colon abnormality.
“I’m still learning about Down syndrome, but I’m trying to also just experience Jones as Jones and not as different than any of the other kids,” she told the outlet in 2022, noting her son was the couple’s “biggest blessing.”
As Star reported last week, Maynard’s eldest child, Ricki Hendrick, 20, revealed she is pregnant with her first child via an Instagram Story, which will make Maynard a first-time grandma.
The mom of six shares Ricki with her late fiancé, Ricky Hendrick, who passed away in 2004.
