Christine Brown is opening up about some intimate details regarding her relationship with ex-husband Kody Brown, including her experience losing her virginity to him.
“Looking back, I thought it would be the best night of my life — magic,” the Sister Wives star, 53, wrote of her honeymoon night with Kody, 53, in her new book, Sister Wife: A Memoir of Faith, Family and Finding Freedom, per Us Weekly. “We stayed in a motel shaped like a castle near Ogden, Utah.”
However, the moment failed to live up to her expectations — and having sex with him for the first time ended up being painful.
“It hurt like crazy, and I cried. ‘I’m so sorry,’ he said, as I recall. But it hurt because there was no foreplay. There was no anything,” the reality star — who shares six children with Kody — explained. “It was my very first time after having my very first kiss at the altar, and he was experienced so he should have known.”

“‘I’ve been looking forward to this for so long,’ I said, crying from the pain. I envisioned handholding, moonlight, gentle touches,” she continued. “I imagined feeling beautiful and adored. I imagined a loving acknowledgement of our eternal life together.”
“For the rest of our honeymoon, I was too sore for us to try again,” she wrote, according to the outlet.
Christine — who married David Woolley in 2023 — also managed to throw a little bit of shade Kody’s way, noting her first orgasm didn’t happen until “about two years into their marriage.”
“It was accidental,” she added, “but still.”
