BRISTOL, Va. (WCYB) — The Bristol Public Library is expanding its creative space, with a brand new audio booth.
The project is funded by the Bristol Public Library Foundation which costs around $16,000. The booth gives library members a place to record podcasts, music projects, and voiceovers.
To use it, you’ll need a library card and will have to go through orientation to learn the equipment.
A class it meets the requirements of the orientation so people who want to use the booth, they’ll learn what equipment is there and how the process works, but we’re gonna follow it up with some simple audio processing, using free tools to maybe clean up your recordings and make them a little more professional, so it’s a little of both, said Director of the Jones Center of the Bristol Public Library, TJ DeWitt,
The audio booth is free for all cardholders. You can email [email protected] or call 276- 645-8790 to reserve the space.
