Jack Osbourne is getting candid about losing his father, Ozzy Osbourne.
On Wednesday, September 3, The Osbournes alum, 39, posted a YouTube video revealing how he found out the former Black Sabbath frontman died.
“I woke up in Los Angeles to a knock on my house door at around 3:45 in the morning, someone who’s watched my family for, God, probably 30 years now, was knocking on my door,” Jack recalled.
“When I looked through my window and I saw it was him, I knew something bad had happened, and I was informed that my father had passed,” Jack, who got visibly emotional, shared.

The former reality star said he felt “sadness” and “pain” at the moment, but he also recognized that the musician was not “suffering” or “struggling” anymore.
“I wish he was still here, I wish he was, you know, still with us all, but he was having a rough go and I think people saw that at the show,” Jack admitted, seemingly referring to Ozzy’s farewell show in Birmingham, England, on July 5.
“But nobody expected it to happen as quickly as it did, and when it did,” Jack continued. “It was not anything that was on our radar.”
Jack said he immediately hopped on a plane back to the U.K. after he found out.
The Rock’ n’ Roll Hall of Famer tragically passed away at age 76 on July 22 after battling Parkinson’s disease.
