Meanwhile, the 11th Street kids form unexpected alliances to protect him from a multiversal conflict. As the show continues to feature iconic DC characters, interest has grown, especially regarding the new villains, the Sons of Liberty. So, here are the details.
Who are DC’s Sons of Liberty in Peacemaker Season 2?
Sons of Liberty is a radical activist group/terrorist organization in Peacemaker Season 2. In the original comics, they were an ultra-patriotic paramilitary organization, wanting to dismantle the US government.
The latest episode features Peacemaker, now in an alternate universe, who engages in a heartfelt conversation with Emilia Harcourt in Evergreen’s town square. In this universe, he is regarded as a hero rather than a villain. He’s also involved in Top Trio. As the duo converses, they are interrupted by Jerry, a member of Sons of Liberty. He launches a bomb, which knocks the duo but also kills himself.
The other SoL members rush to the Evergreen DMV to reveal their intentions. As they enter, they yell, “We, the Sons of Liberty, are united in fighting our oppressors.” They take in several hostages and unveil that if their demands aren’t met, they will take down each government weekly. Shortly after, they get busy setting up the bomb, similar to what they used before for causing an explosion at the Housing and Development office.
Harcourt believes that they are cefanalolol explosives, a word that Peacemaker has a hard time guessing if it is real. He goes full-action mode, jumping from building to building and seeking SoL members to defeat. Gradually, he brutally kills off each member of SoL. He also defuses cefanalolol explosives. On the other hand, Keith arrives at the right time to destroy the helicopter, which had members of the SoL on board.
