Kristin Cabot Moves To Divorce Her CEO Husband After Being Caught With Her Boss On A Coldplay Kiss Cam

Kristin Cabot, the woman who went viral for canoodling with her boss at a Coldplay concert, has filed for divorce from her husband.

Kristin made headlines back in July when she was caught wrapped in the arms of former Astronomer CEO, Andy Byron, at Coldplay’s concert, but reports say her marriage to her husband, Andrew Cabot, had long been plagued with marital troubles.

Meanwhile, there has been no news of a divorce between Andy Byron and his wife, Megan, even though she has removed the name “Byron” from her surname on social media.

According to reports, Kristin Cabot, the former HR executive for Astronomer, filed a petition for a split from her CEO husband, Andrew Cabot.

Legal documents obtained by the Daily Mail reveal that she filed the petition at a court in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, on August 13, less than a month after her quite embarrassing moment with Byron went viral.

“I texted Andrew right after it happened, and he said: ‘Her life has nothing to do with me,’ and said they were separating,” Andrew’s ex-wife, Julia, told the news outlet.

Apparently, their marriage had been on the rocks for some time before the incident, with Andrew playing it cool upon learning that his wife had become the subject of global ridicule while he was on a business trip to Japan.

“He’s saying it has nothing to do with him, even though they were married and shared a house. But then, the only thing he cares about is money,” Julia continued.

Elsewhere in her chat with the Daily Mail, Julia painted a bad picture of Kristin’s estranged husband, Andrew, stating that he is “not a nice person.”

“Now something not nice [has] happened to him,” she continued. “That’s why after it happened, I got loads of texts from people with that word: karma. It was like: what you give, you get.”

She added, “Personally, I don’t think he’s affected by what happened at all. I don’t think his feelings are hurt. He’s probably embarrassed, if anything.”

Julia went further to describe Andrew as a descendant of a “Boston Brahmin” family, which means he’s from one of the most elite upper-class families in the state.

She noted that “his ego is too big” and is unlikely to be “affected by this.” She added that the “only thing that he’s bummed about is that he was embarrassed.”

According to the news outlet, Andrew and Kristin tried mediation to restore the spark in their marriage, but that seemed to have proved abortive.

“I wouldn’t say he’s husband material, but she doesn’t seem like wife material either,” Julia added.

In July, Kristin had hoped to catch some fun with her now-former boss, Andy Byron, as she attended Coldplay’s concert at the Gillette Stadium in Boston; little did she know that her life was about to take a 180 turn for the worse.

As the event’s proceedings went on, a kiss cam captured moments where she was seen wrapped around Andy’s arms.

The pair seemed not to be proud of the intimate moment they were sharing, as they began ducking to dodge the camera, but the damage had already been done.

“Either they’re having an affair, or they are just very shy,” Coldplay frontman Chris Martin weighed in on their effort to save face, and as it would later turn out, they were indeed having an affair.

The incident led to Byron, who was the CEO of tech company Astronomer, resigning his position, while Kristin, who served as the company’s human resources manager, took a leave of absence before ultimately resigning from her role.

A source told US Weekly that he was “blindsided” to meet reporters waiting in their numbers near their marital home in Rye, New Hampshire.

“The family is now saying they have been having marriage troubles for several months and were discussing separating, which I find interesting since, as of a month ago, they were saying how in love they are,” the insider said.

Andy Byron’s Wife Moved Out Of Their Marital Home

The viral jumbotron moment has now left devastation in its wake, resulting in two lost jobs and one marital breakdown.

For Byron, it remains unclear what the current state of his marriage is, but his wife, Megan, has since dropped his name from her surname on social media and is instead using her maiden name, Kerrigan. She also deleted her Facebook account, which used to be filled with pictures of her and her husband with their children.

According to the Daily Mail, she also moved out of their main marital home in Northborough, Massachusetts, to the couple’s luxury holiday estate in Kennebunkport, Maine, and was supported by her family, especially her older sister Maura. However, none of them has officially filed for divorce.
