As the weather gets colder, thoughts are turning to being cwtched up in front of the telly with a good autumnal film. But for those who fancy something a little bit different, you will soon be able watch some of your favourite movies in a rather different spot.
Wonder Cinema is returning to Wales this autumn with their drive-ins, meaning you can watch your fave films under the stars this autumn, from the comfort of your car. They will be popping in to five different Welsh locations with a variety of classic films.
From Hocus Pocus to The Goonies, they have plenty of options that everyone will love, even those who love something a little scarier.

Starting on Wednesday, September 17, and ending on Wednesday, October 29, Wonder Cinema is offering audiences the opportunity to watch some of their favourite films in the lead up to Halloween at their five locations spanning across south Wales.
They’ll be holding drive-in cinemas, at Swansea’s Penlan RFC, Blaenavon Heritage Railway, Bridgend’s Llangewydd Arms, Trago Mills in Merthyr Tydfil and Tiny Rebel Brewery Car Park in Newport.
Each location will show a different selection of films including movies to get you into the spooky season like A Nightmare on Elm Street, Beetlejuice and The Exorcist.
Alternatively, they have some less scary options like the Welsh classic Twin Town, A Star is Born and The Goonies.
Tickets cost £24, although this is per car not per person. So, if you have two people in a car that will cost £12 per person and if you have four people in a car that works out at £6 per person. They say: “Bring as many people in your car as you want! We price per car and NOT per person.”

They also offer add-ons like date night boxes (£12), or family/friends boxes (£20) which includes optimum film night snacks like popcorn and sweets.
Each location will offer food and drinks which you can order directly to your car from a QR code.
